What is the FACEIT InHouse Open League Project and how can I join?

The first season will start on August 1, 2021 at 00:00, so far the queues will remain closed. We encourage you to register, complete teams and join our Hubs.

WHAT IS THIS PROJECT ABOUT?

Being the official partner of the FACEIT platform, we decided to jointly organize an open league for everyone who would like to try their hand at winning various prizes every month. In a nutshell, this is simply a League of Legends private queue headed for the European semi-professional scene of that game.

The most important information:

  • Game Map & Type: Summoners Rift & Tournament Draft
  • Format: 5v5, team or party crews
  • The duration of the seasons: from the 1st of each month until the last day of the month
  • Region: EUNE or EUW
  • Prize pool: Small cash prizes + FACEIT Points that can be exchanged for Riot Points, Steam wallet $ or even real gaming items,
  • After joining, each team starts at 1000 ranking points
    • Points for winning: +3
    • Points for loss: -3
    • Ranking bonus/malus: Additionally to the points per win and loss, the Ranking bonus/malus gives an additional number of points to players depending on their ranking. The lower the ranking, the larger the points won and the smaller the points lost. This means that the team can join even in the middle of the month and still have a chance of winning.

FACEIT? HOW TO SIGN UP?

We will guide you step by step.

  1. Each member of your team must register on the FACEIT platform: https://www.faceit.com/en/r/Pmi8zY <- Click on the link (registration via this link increases the prize pool, add your contribution, thank you!)
  2. Each member of your team must verify and add their EUNE or EUW League of Legends account (depending on which server the team is going to play on. You can play in both leagues at the same time.)

  4. Each person must join the team created by the Captain. Substitute players.

Captain:

Important: First, the Captain must have a validated and added League of Legends EUNE or EUW account (see above) to be able to create a team.

  2. After creating your party, you need to find it and invite your companions to join it.
    (You can invite people from your FACEIT friends list to your team, so you’ll need to add yourself first before you can add them to your team)

    1. You will find the team in the side panel on the left, at the bottom, in the “TEAMS” tab.
    2. Then, to add your friends, click on “+ Add Members” and invite your friends.

After following the above steps, you can sign up for tournaments on FACEIT.com

We already have a team, but how do you join the Open League?

You have to decide on which server you are going to play EUNE, EUW or you can try your hand at both leagues at the same time.

In order for a team to play in a league, each team member must join the selected league.
